Day One: Bariloche- airport arrival
Your tour begins upon arrival in the small city of Bariloche, Argentina located on the majestic Lake Nahuel Huapi in Northern Patagonia. You will be met by your guide and group shuttle at the airport (please arrange flight arrival time between 5-6pm) and after an hour drive you will arrive at your hotel in the small ski town of Villa de Angostura home of Cerro Bayo ski area (we will be returning to Bariloche to ski further on in the trip). After settling in to your room and relaxing a bit we will dine at one of the local restaurants and have a brief review of the upcoming schedule and plans.

Day Two & Three: Villa de Angostura
After breakfast, we’ll head up to Cerro Bayo ski area overlooking beautiful lake Nahuel Huapi. We will spend the next 2 days skiing and exploring the area in and around Villa de Angostura. Cerro Bayo only a short drive from the center of town is a fun locals oriented ski area with a shortage of crowds and an abundance of powder and steep in bounds and off-piste runs. We will be staying in one of the local hotels and visiting a local restaurant each night to enjoy the local cuisine and fine South American wines.

Day Four & Five: San Martin de Los Andes
Day four we head north to the ski town of San Martin de Los Andes and Chapelco ski area. The ski area is a one and a half hours drive from Villa de Angostura (depending on road conditions) and is located on Lacar Lake in the heart of Lanin National Park. Arriving at mid-day you have the choice of hitting the slopes for an afternoon of skiing or you can just relax and take the day off to explore the town and its many attractions. Tomorrow, day five, we will spend another full day of skiing at Chapelco and in the evening head to Bariloche and Catedral Alta Patagonia ski area.

Day Six & Seven: Bariloche- Catedral Alta Patagonia 
Bariloche is known for being a fun little city with lots of year round outdoor activities as well as for its fine dining, wine, shopping and of course, it’s famous chocolates. After a night of getting settled in and dinner out on the town you will awake for an early breakfast and then off to nearby Catedral Alta Patagonia. The ski area is located within the Nahuel Huapi National Park with its beautiful views of the Andes mountains and Mt. Tronador, the tallest peak in the area at 3,554 meters (11,600 ft.). We will explore the extensive intermediate to expert slopes and terrain of Catedral for the next two days and nights.

Day Eight: Bariloche-airport departure
After breakfast we will provide a group transport to the Bariloche airport which will leave the hotel at 10:00am. If planning on using the shuttle please arrange your departing flight time to Buenos Aires for  after 12:00 noon. If this time does not work out for you arrangements can be made with a local transport company to provide the shuttle for you at another time for an additional fee paid directly to the driver by you.

Day One: Arrival- Puerto Montt
You will be met at the airport in Puerto Montt by one of our staff and transported by vehicle to your lodge located on the Puelo River. The transport will take roughly 3 hours and pass along Lago Llanquihue and the Reloncavi Fjord with views of Volcan Osorno and Calbuco. Upon arrival at the lodge you will have time to settle in to your room and relax with a hot shower before dinner. After dinner we will have a short orientation meeting to check over gear, discuss the schedule for the next few days and have the opportunity to meet and chat with the guides.

Day Two- Day Seven
The next six days are all about fishing, eating and relaxing. Each day you will rise early in the morning to enjoy a breakfast of local flavors, fresh fruit and homemade breads made daily by the folks at the lodge. After breakfast we depart by boat for a full day of fishing for Rainbow, Brown Trout and trophy sized Chinook Salmon. A hearty lunch prepared by the cooks is served every day on the river by your guides. At the end of each day of fishing you will return to the lodge for evening meals of sumptuous local meats and fish. The days of summer here in Patagonia are long so the evening hours after dinner are a great time to get in some late evening fishing (head in any direction and you’ll find water)

Day Eight: Departure- Airport / Puerto Montt
After an early breakfast you will depart for the Puerto Montt Airport and your connecting flight back home. You will travel by vehicle along the same route to the airport as upon your arrival (again plan on 3 hours of travel time).

Day One: Arrival – Night at Lodge
You will be met by one of our staff at the airport outside of the city of Puerto Montt, Chile and accompanied by vehicle and boat to the Lodge located a short distance from Tagua Tagua Park a trip of approximately 3 hours (you will stop midway for a short coffee break in the town of Cochamo). Upon arrival we have a relaxing evening planed with a hearty dinner provided by our local hosts. With the long summer days we will have plenty of time after dinner for a trip introduction meeting to tie up loose ends and familiarize you with the area as well as discuss the agenda for the next few days.

Day Two and Three: Tagua Tagua Park- Hike/Refugios
After an early breakfast we will jump into one of the lodges boats to cross lake Tagua Tagua to begin your trip up into the mountains where we will spend the next two full days hiking through the Valdivian forest of the private park/reserve Tagua Tagua. We will spend each night in a different small alpine refugio with all meals provided.

Day 4: Lodge- Night to Relax and Kick Back
Today after our second night out, we will back track down the same trail to the meeting point for the boat. After a short ride back to the Lodge we’ll get cleaned up and enjoy another relaxing evening of wining and dining with our hosts before heading out tomorrow morning to the airport.

Day 5: Depart- Puerto Montt- Airport
After an early breakfast it will be time to say goodbye to the crew and head back across lake Tagua Tagua to meet your transport to head back to the airport in Puerto Montt and your flight home. You will be passing along the same route as your arrival with the same travel time of 3 hours.

 

Day One: La Junta / Cochamo Valley Trail
We will meet in the morning on this day in the town of Cochamo at a predetermined location where you will organize and pack your luggage for the trip to La Junta. When we’re all packed and ready to go we’ll drive a short distance to the trail head of the Cochamo Valley Trail to meet up with the Pack Horse(s). After a brief orientation and loading of your belongings on the horse(s) you and your guide(s) (guides carry first aid kits and radios) will start the 3-4 hour trip up the valley on foot with lunch being served along the way. After arriving at the Refugio Cochamo lodge and settling in you will have time for a quick hike or just sit back relax and enjoy the view of the surrounding granite walls before dinner is served.

Day Two: La Junta
Today is your day to enjoy this beautiful part of the Cochamo Valley with a variety of trekking trails to suit the various ability levels. After breakfast a guide will organize and accompany all groups on a trekking excursion which normally will take most of the day to complete (lunch will be served somewhere along the trail). Upon returning to the lodge in the evening you will be able to relax and enjoy the surroundings while the guide(s) prepare the evening meal.

Day Three: Departure 
After breakfast it will be time to say goodbye to La Junta and hike back down the valley (with a trail lunch) to meet your shuttle back to Cochamo with time to unpack and reorganize your belongings before continuing on with your next travel plans.

 

Day 1: Puerto Montt- Las Gaviotas
Your guide will meet you at the airport outside of Puerto Montt, Chile and accompany you by vehicle (2hours) to the community of El Poncho located on Lago Rupanco where you will board a small boat for the short lake crossing to Las Gaviotas. Here you will camp the first night at the trail head of the Callao hot spring trail and prepare for the rest of your hike.

Day 2: Las Gaviotas- Second Night Camp
We will start our trek toward the hotsprings at Callao and lago Todos los Santos with a full day of hiking along the eastern side of the volcano Puntiagudo. We will spend the second night along the trail aproximately half way to the hotsprings.

Day 3: Las Gaviotas- Termas Callao
Today we wake early and after enjoying a hearty breakfast we start out for a full day of hiking heading south over fairly moderate terrain toward the hot springs at Callao where we will spend the third night camping and enjoying the rustic atmosphere of the area and hot springs.

Day 4: Depart- Airport or Hotel
Once again after breakfast we continue on south with a bit shorter day than yesterday toward El Ricon boat ramp where we will meet up with our boat for the lake crossing of Lago Todos los Santos finishing up at the west side of the lake at the boat ramp at Petrohue. Upon arrival our vehicle transport will be waiting for us to transport those with flights on to the airport or other locations in nearby Puerto Varas.
